Feature Film:
The Near Miss

I read it – twice actually. I thought it was very promising, especially the start, so beautifully pitched in the room. I was going to re-read it and send you an email full of praise and the promise that it offered. So there you are – Send me more!

Synopsis:  Zoe is 49 and single. After 38 unspeakable dates with freaks, geeks and perverts, all she wants is someone she can trust, someone she feels she’s known all her life.  So she decides to go back through all the decades and the missed opportunities, to all the nice men she knew but failed to notice while she was too busy chasing bastards.  The Near Miss is a sharp but wistful romcom for a generation of older single women who haven’t a clue what they’re doing wrong.
